Job summary:
Solargis is seeking a talented and experienced Product Designer to join our team. You will be key in transforming our SaaS applications into user-centric, visually appealing, and highly usable platforms. Your expertise will contribute to creating an exceptional user experience for our clients and stakeholders.
Description & Responsibilities:
- Conducting user research to understand our diverse user base's needs, preferences, and pain points.
- Creating wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to visualise and communicate design concepts.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to bring designs from concept to implementation.
- Conducting usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Contributing to developing and maintaining design principles and design systems to ensure consistency of user experience across our suite of applications.
- Help implement a user-centred design approach, ensuring the user experience is at the forefront of all design decisions.
- Advocate for and implement accessible design principles to ensure our products are usable by people of all abilities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices.
- Support technical and business teams in the development and commercialisation of products.
- Contributing to strategic planning and defining company priorities.
Job requirements:
- Experience of at least 4 years in a similar position
- Fluent communication skills in English
- Proven experience as a UX designer with a strong portfolio showcasing successful SaaS application designs
- A deep understanding of user-centred design principles and the ability to translate user needs into effective design solutions
- Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Storybook
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to approach design challenges creatively.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and evolving project requirements.
- Enthusiasm for renewable energy sources and sustainability is a plus.
- Good presentation and communication skills (written and oral)
- Experience with agile development
- Constantly learn knowledge from the fields of natural and technical sciences
- Candidate should have EU citizenship or a valid residence permit
