Business Development Manager for China, Singapore

Description & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a plan to grow business from customers in China
  • Educate and guide prospective customers who are considering Solargis solutions
  • Quickly learn Solargis product portfolio and confidently present the value proposition of Solargis services
  • Cultivate relationships with customers, understand complex customer requirements both at technical and business level, and propose meaningful solutions
  • Monitor, analyse and report sales developments and market opportunities
  • Deal with sales inquiries, prepare business offers, tender bids and sales contracts
  • Manage a pipeline of sales opportunities
  • Contribution to marketing activities, preparation of and participation at exhibitions and events
  • Travel within China territory to meet prospects and customers
  • Work with APAC CEO on creating a list of prospective customers who are a good fit for Solargis services

Job requirements:

  • University degree, graduation in engineering or science is advantage
  • Experience of 3 years in a sales or business development role
  • Technical aptitude to understand customer problems and propose meaningful solutions
  • Experience with solar energy and technical sales is advantage
  • Mature communication skills with capability to present effectively in front of C-level audience
  • Excellent Chinese and English language skills are required
  • Experience with B2B software or consultancy services is advantage
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
